Michael Crane - Director of Instruction
Michael brings 30 years teaching experience to Vic Hadfield Golf & Learning Centre, joining us from Glen Abbey Golf Club 2012-2020. A Class "A" Member of the PGA of Canada for 25 years with career highlights including being named PGA of Ontario 'Teacher of the Year', PGA of Ontario (Toronto Region) 'Teacher of the Year' and National Posts 'Top 50 Instructors in Canada'. Prior to Glen Abbey, Michael operated his own academy at Lionhead Golf & Country Club 2008-2011. From 1999-2008, he acted as the Executive Director of Golf for the Academies at Golf Town, assembling a team of over 40 Canadian PGA Professionals for 35 stores across Canada. Michael's teaching philosophy, communication skills and golf swing expertise has made him one of the most sought-after teaching professionals in Canada. So whether you are a seasoned player or just beginning, Michael will tailor a program to suit your need using V-1 video.
Rowan Nicol - Senior Instructor
I have been a golf professional for 25 years. I earned my PGA of Canada status at White Oaks Golf Club here in Oakville. I went on to Pro Golf Mississauga as the Director of Golf Instruction teaching golfers of all ages and skill levels with great success. I play as a left-handed golfer, but taught myself to swing right-handed to better understand the golf swing. I also play competitively, playing in the Canadian Tours Fall Qualifying School and many Canadian Open Qualifiers. I then went on to work for The Golf Channel in Orlando, Florida for 4 years. Golf is the greatest game on earth, you can start at any age and play your whole life. I have had some of the best teachers teach me throughout my career. I myself am not a method teacher, every one of us has our own blueprint, a swing that is our own. A golf swing can be as simple as throwing a ball. I’ll help you find that swing, improve it, and understand it.

Victor Hadfield- Senior Instructor
Victor has been playing golf for more than 20 years, developing a deep understanding of the game and honing his skills over time. His experience extends to teaching, where he specializes in instructing our Introduction to Golf Clinics.
Victor is a PGA of Canada Apprentice
Professional, and he is actively working toward achieving his Class A designation.
Outside of golf, Victor has a professional hockey career in the United States. In addition to playing, he has taught youth hockey skills, sharing his expertise and passion for sport with younger athletes.
Michelle Guan - Instructor
Michelle is an accomplished and licensed golf instructor. Bringing more than 15 years of experience to the game. She is certified by the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation (CGTF).
Michelle excels at diagnosing and correcting swing challenges, offering instruction that is clear, precise, and easy to grasp. She draws on a variety of methods to help golfers understand and experience the ideal swing motion, making improvement accessible for players of all levels.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, Michelle delivers personalized instruction tailored to each golfer’s unique needs. Her approach helps students refine their swing mechanics and elevate their overall performance, ensuring every lesson is both effective and engaging.
Hayden Burski - Junior Instructor
Hayden is a PGA of Canada Apprentice Professional (2024) currently progressing toward the PGA of Canada Class “A” certification.
He has assisted in teaching new golfers through our Introduction to Golf Clinics.
Hayden is known for creating a structured, upbeat learning experience that helps players develop skills quickly and enjoy the game from day one.
