PGA of Canada Class A Teaching Pro and an active tournament player continually working on my own game and would love to share my knowledge so that together we can bring out the best golfer in you by going through every aspect and creating a golf swing that you feel great about. I cater to beginners, experienced and junior golfers.
I have been a golf professional for 25 years. I earned my CPGA status at White Oaks Golf Club here in Oakville. I went on to Pro Golf Mississauga as the Director of Golf Instruction teaching golfers of all ages and skill levels with great success. I play as a left-handed golfer, but taught myself to swing right-handed to better understand the golf swing. I also play competitively, playing in the Canadian Tours Fall Qualifying School and many Canadian Open Qualifiers. I then went on to work for The Golf Channel in Orlando, Florida for 4 years. Golf is the greatest game on earth, you can start at any age and play your whole life. I have had some of the best teachers teach me throughout my career. I myself am not a method teacher, every one of us has our own blueprint, a swing that is our own. A golf swing can be as simple as throwing a ball. I’ll help you find that swing, improve it, and understand it.

Ever since being the first junior member here at Vic Hadfield Golf & Learning Centre, Lucas has had a
passion for the game of golf. Studying at Queen’s University, Lucas has been playing golf since he was
seven, playing competitively at a young age before turning to a more teaching-centred role in the game.
Lucas has taught various junior summer camps and clinics over the past 4 years, making him well suited
for younger golfers looking to get into the game. Golf can be a very complicated and technically intense
sport. Lucas’ coaching style brings simplicity to the game and will help build a strong base
understanding of the fundamentals of golf to new and seasoned golfers alike.
